Digital service book

A digital service book — your car's service history on your phone

Kodu keeps each car's service history: what was done, when, and at what mileage. Alongside it sit service intervals, tyres and documents — and your garage can write into it too, if you want.

  • Service history for every car
  • Intervals by mileage and by time
  • Free during early access

What a digital service book is

A service book is the record of how a car has been looked after. The paper one lives in the glovebox, and a stamp in it does not say what was actually replaced. In a digital one every job has its own entry, and you can still find it years later.

  • Every service as an entry

Oil change, brakes, timing belt — each job with its date and mileage, kept separately for every car.

  • Checked or replaced

Each item says whether it was only checked or actually replaced. That is the difference a stamp does not capture.

  • Documents with the car

Attach the garage invoice or an inspection report to the car as a photo or PDF instead of hunting for it in a drawer.

Service intervals by mileage and by time

Oil is not changed on mileage alone, nor brake fluid on years alone. Kodu tracks both and goes by whichever comes first.

  • Mileage or time

Every interval has a limit in kilometres and in time. The one reached first applies.

  • Overdue and coming up

For each car you see which jobs should already be done and which are next in line.

  • Tyres

For each set: the distance driven on it, the seasonal swaps, and its age from the DOT code.

The garage writes it, you see it

You can share a car with your garage. What the garage records after a repair appears in your app — no copying from the invoice.

  • An entry straight from the garage

The garage keeps its customers' vehicles in a web portal. Its record of the repair is the same one you see.

  • Messages with the garage

You message your garage inside the app and can send it a car right in the chat.

  • Sharing is in your hands

You can stop sharing a car with a garage at any time.

When you sell, the service history goes with the car

A documented history is an argument when you sell. When you hand a car over to its new owner in Kodu and they accept, the service records, intervals, tyre sets and documents move with the car. Your drives and your private note do not. Kodu is a helper tool — it does not replace the manufacturer's service book or warranty terms.

Kodu is free during early access, no card required. Add a car, enter the last service, and the next date no longer has to live in your head.
