Terms of Service

1. Basic provisions

These general terms of service ("Terms") govern the rights and obligations between the operator of the Kodu app ("provider") and the app user ("user"). By using the app, the user agrees to these Terms.

2. Description of services

Kodu provides a mobile and web app for managing vehicles, maintenance records, drive logs, reminders about document expiry (technical/emissions inspections, insurance) and service account management. Core features are free. The app is currently in early access and some features may change.

3. Registration and account

Using the app requires registration with a valid email address. The user is responsible for keeping their account and password secure. Service accounts require company details (company name, registration number, address, contact details). All information provided must be truthful.

4. User obligations

The user agrees to:

• Use the app in accordance with applicable law
• Not share access credentials with third parties
• Provide truthful and up-to-date information
• Not misuse the app for illegal purposes
• Not attempt unauthorized access to the systems

5. Limitation of liability

The provider is not liable for damages caused by service unavailability, data loss due to technical failure, inaccuracy of data entered by the user, or use of the app contrary to these Terms. The app serves as an auxiliary tool and does not replace official records.

6. Service accounts

Service accounts are intended for car services and business entities. By registering a service account, the user confirms they are authorized to act on behalf of the company. The provider reserves the right to verify service account details and to refuse or revoke an account if false information is provided.

7. Account termination

The user may request account termination at any time. The provider reserves the right to terminate or suspend the account of a user who breaches these Terms. After termination, personal data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to the Terms

The provider reserves the right to change these Terms. The user will be informed of changes through the app or by email. By continuing to use the app after a change to the Terms, the user expresses agreement with the new terms.
